About Therese
Originally from Stockholm, Sweden, Therese began her studies in Nursing at Montgomery College 2009 when she moved to the United States. She later transferred to Virginia Community College where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2013 as a Registered Nurse. She originally started her nursing career as an allergy nurse and worked for Richard Rosenthal, M.D. 2013 – 2016. But she always aspired to be an aesthetic nurse.
To further advance her skills, she trained in Botox and filler application with the prestigious Esthetic Institute in Florida. After that, Therese joined Dr. Phillip Chang's plastic surgery practice - Aesthetica - where she performed a variety of aesthetic procedures including Botox and fillers as well as Intensed Pulse Light (IPL), microdermabrasion, facial dermal peels, and other facial aesthetic services. Therese completed her advanced aesthetic training with the Esthetic Institute in New York, 2018.
Therese proudly launched her own practice Aesthetic Artistry in 2022, where her company mission is to provide life-changing aesthetic procedures for her clients while upholding the absolute safest and best medical practices.
When asked why she loves aesthetic nursing, Therese says, "It feels like it’s a combination of art and science. We are creating beautiful faces, striving to deliver the absolute best result for each individual patient, and using advanced science and medicine to do so".
Therese loves to stay active with her family (husband, young son and two dogs) and they enjoy hiking, biking, and swimming, among other hobbies.
